Prefabricated Housing Unit

The Prefabricated Housing Unit, located anywhere as a universal housing prototype, represents a progressive response to the global housing shortage and the urgent call for sustainable construction practices. Encompassing a compact gross floor area of 176 square feet, the design redefines minimal living through precision-engineered modularity and environmental sensitivity. The structure’s clean geometric form, expressed through a blend of timber, metal, and natural cladding, harmonizes with its surroundings while minimizing ecological disruption. Its off-site fabrication and rapid on-site assembly drastically reduce waste, energy consumption, and construction time—offering an adaptable model for remote or urban deployment. Oriented to maximize natural light and cross-ventilation, the dwelling ensures year-round comfort with minimal mechanical reliance. Beyond its scale, the project symbolizes a new ethos of resilience—where design, technology, and ecology converge to create dignified, efficient, and replicable housing for diverse contexts.
